싱어송라이터 이아나의 첫 정규 앨범 [아름다운 성령님]

순수한 마음과 소리로 노래하는 이아나가 오랜 준비 끝에 첫 앨범을 만들었다. 이아나는 마라나타 찬양팀 사역을 기점으로 한나선교선를 타고 여러 나라를 다니며 영어 예배인도를 했었다. 복음이 필요한 곳이라며 어디든지 달려가서 길가나 배 위 등 장소를 가리지 않고 각 나라의 언어로 하나님을 찬양했었다.
이번 앨범은 이아나가 초창기에 작곡한 곡들로 여러 뮤지션들의 재능기부로 만들어졌다. 이번 첫 앨범의 여러곡들은 피아노 연주로 구성되었다. 이아나의 목소리와 어루러지는 피아노 반주는 마치 연주회에 온 듯한 따뜻함과 평온함을 준다.

‘아름다운 성령님’은 이미 여러 교회에서 사랑받은 곡으로 성령님의 도우심을 구하는 곡이다.
‘나 두려워 않으리’ 는 이아나가 세상을 향해 하나님의 아버지 되심을 즐겁게 풀어낸 곡이다.
‘주님을 예배하기 원해요’는 흥겨운 펑키리듬의 곡으로 하나님이 우리를 도우심을 확신하는 찬양이다.
‘하나님의 인자하심’은 세상이 나를 욕해도 하나님만은 나를 받아주시고 사랑하신다는 의미가 있다.
‘라라라’는 자연속에서 자유롭고 평안한 마음으로 쓴 곡으로 주님만은 내 소리를 들으신다는 곡이다.
‘나를 드림’ 은 우릴 위해 모든 것을 주신 주님을 생각하며 나를 드리고 싶은 마음을 담았다.
‘주안에 있는 나에게’ 는 이아나가 사랑하는 찬송가로 인생에 어려운 순간마다 힘이 되어준 곡이다.
‘간절한 기도’ 이아나의 간절한 바램은 주님의 임재안에 거함이라는 마음를 곡으로 표현했다.


Singer-songwriter Anah Lee's first regular album [Beautiful Holy Spirit]

Singing with a genuinely emotional heart, ANAH completed her first album after difficult years of preparation. Leading the English Worship team after her part in the Maranatha Praise Band, ANAH used the Hannah Missions to travel internationally, acknowledging the lack of Gospels and praises around the world. She followed the Missions, wherever its next destination may be, and praised God in the respective languages of each country, regardless if she sang on a ship or the streets.

Although composed by ANAH in her earlier days, the album was made possible through talent donations by various musicians. “Beautiful Holy Spirit” is a song that has already been heard and loved by numerous churches, expressing the pursuits of the Holy Spirit’s aid. Incorporating a light and almost joyous tone, ‘I Will Not Be Afraid’ reminds of God’s fatherhood over his children. Adding a refreshing splash of funky rhythms, “Jesus, I Want to Worship You” speaks about trusting in God, who is always available for our needs whenever and wherever. The piano accompanies several of the songs in ANAH’s first album, creating warmth and tranquility.


-이아나의 고백

지나고 보면 그때 난 왜 그리 힘겨워 했는지 알 수가 없다. 세상엔 나 혼자인 듯 했고 눈물이 마를 날이 없었다. 고독했던 그 시절 내가 할 수 있는 건 오직 기도 뿐이었다. 하지만 신기하게도 내 노래속에는 항상 희망과 사랑이 있었다. 그것은 내가 부른 것이 아니라 내 안의 성령님의 노래였다. 그때나 지금이나 내가 버틸 수 있는 건 나의 곁에 계신 주님 때문이다. 나는 항상 깊은 절망속에서도 내가 얼마나 힘이 드는지 말하기보다 나를 너무 사랑하시는 주님의 대한 이야기를 하고 싶다. 오늘도 변함없이 그 사랑을 노래한다.

- ANAH’s Biography

Thinking back on my past, I can no longer recall the reasons for my sadness, pain, loneliness, or melancholy. The younger me felt the battles were fought between her alone and grand world. At the time, I was at mercy of my countless prayers whispered between my overwhelming dejection and abyss of desolation. Yet, the morsel of hope in the back of my mind urged my songs, never to mirror my negativity, but to reflect God’s greatness and plans for humanity. Now, I am on my feet because it is the Lord who stands by my side. Unlike the many songs depicting the aching for God through the hardships of life, I choose to sing to express, not the pains or the fears or the chaos, but about the Lord’s infinite love. Like the past, present, and aiming for the future, I will sing of his love forever more!
