세상은 때때로 사랑의 자격에 대해 말합니다.
누군가를 사랑하기 위해 갖추어야 하는 자격이요. 자격이 사랑을 만들고 자격으로 사랑을 판단합니다.
그래서일까요?
세상의 눈으로 우리 자신을 돌아보니 한숨만 나옵니다.
주님을 사랑할 만한 자격이 도무지 보이지 않으니까요.

그저 눈에 들어온 건,
우리에게 있는 작은 흠집 하나가,
쌓인 티끌 하나가,
모이고 또 모여서,
우리는 그걸 사랑 대신 부끄러움이라고 고백할 뿐입니다.

하지만 가만히 귀를 기울여 보세요.
하늘 위에서 떨어진 사랑이,
십자가를 타고 흘러,
우리의 흠을 덮고 티끌을 걷어낼 때,
주님은 그걸 우리의 사랑이라 말씀하십니다.

그러니 함께 노래합시다.
우리의 자격도, 사랑도 모두 예수 그리스도시니.
주님이 우리의 찬양이요 우리의 고백입니다.

The world sometimes speaks of the qualification of love.
The qualification one needs to love someone.
That qualification makes love, and judges love.
That is why when we see ourselves with the eyes of the world, only a sigh comes out.
Because it seems like we don't have the right to love God.

All I see in me are flaws and dust,
now so piled up,
became my shame,
and dare cannot say I could love God.

But be still and listen.
Love fell from the heaven,
flowed through the cross,
Covered our flaws and wiped away our dust,
Jesus now says we are worthy to love.

So let us sing.
For our rights and love all come from Jesus Christ.
Jesus is our song and our confession.
