디아코리아(DiaKorea)는 그리스어로 섬김이란 뜻이 있는 ‘디아코니아(Diakonia)’와 한국적 정체성을 직설하는 ‘코리아(Korea)’의 합성어로써, 한국적이면서 동시대적인 예술 콘텐츠를 창작하여 교회와 세상을 섬기며 복음을 전하는 사역을 그 목적으로 합니다.

DiaKorea is the compound word of “Diakonia” meaning to serve in Greek and “Korea” denoting the identity of Korea itself.
Our purpose is to spread the gospel with contemporary Korean artistic content and to serve the Church as well as the world.

한국의 고유한 악기인 가야금과 해금 그리고 서양의 대표적 악기인 기타와 피아노의 유니크한 4중주(Quartet) 편성으로 구성된 디아코리아 쿼텟은 동양 소리와 서양 소리(Oriental and Western)의 조화, 전통 음악과 모던 음악(Classic and modern)의 균형, 그리고 옛 노래와 새 노래(Original and Novel)의 합치를 지향합니다.

DiaKorea quartet is composed of two Korean traditional instruments; a gayageum, a heageum and two Western instruments;
a piano and a guitar. We pursue the harmonious mix of Asian and Western sound. And also we aim for creating a balance between classical and modern music, as well as combining original compositions with novel expressions.


오랜 시간이 지나도 변치 않는 깊이의 노래 ‘찬송가(Hymns)’. 그 찬송가의 아름다운 선율들을 바탕으로 기획한 찬송가 시리즈 중
그 첫 번째 앨범인 ‘Glory to God, Hallelujah!’는 ‘예배와 성부’라는 주제 아래 우리 귀에 익숙하고 애창되고 있는 곡들을 선곡하여 제작하였습니다.

This first album, “Glory to God, Hallelujah!,” is based on beautiful hymns.
And is the first album which was produced under our hymn series project under the theme of “Worship God Father.”
We chose the most beloved and familiar hymns for this album.
